We get asked fairly frequently what games are played at the club, this is an attempt at a comprehensive list of all the games that have been played so far.

H. What's currently running at the moment?
ReplyDeleteSorry for the slow reply, I've been away at a First Aid course this week. Warhammer 40,000 is the most popular game at the club and is played most weeks. Warhammer Fantasy also gets played most weeks but we have far fewer players for this. We also have an Only War roleplaying campaign running at the moment.
ReplyDeleteThough they are not played everyweek there tends to be a copy of 7 Wonders, X-Wing, Munchkin, Uno and a tradtional board games compendium available at every session. We also have a demo set for Deadzone at the club that can be used by anyone.
What boardgames and roleplaying games are played depends very much on who turns up for that weeks session. We try and get as wide as possible a selection of games being played.
Once the 6 Nations is out of the way I'm looking to try and come down and get involved. Do you know if there are any RPG's due to start soon? If so what themes? With regard to gaming I have the following:

Due to the fact very often the same players are not available each week our RPGs tend to be either convention style one shots or are fairly fluid in terms of who gets to play and when they run. I think we currently have an Only War campaign running and a fantasy game using homebrew rules. In terms of future games, I intend to run some Deadlands (though this probably won't be until the end of April), Andy has spoken about running Neccesary Evil and John has mentioned running a GMless game based on the classic boardgame Chainsaw Warrior.
ReplyDeleteOur core Judge Dredd players haven't been for a while and I don't think we have any Malifaux players. Relic is awesome and I'm sure you'll get plenty of players for that and Deathwatch. We have a number of X-Wing players and that tends to get brought out as a good filler game.
